ClipCutter · Last updated: October 2026
These Terms of Service govern the use of ClipCutter ("the application"), a personal, self-hosted tool used to create short video clips and publish them to the operator's own YouTube channel.
1. Acceptance
By using ClipCutter you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the application.
2. Description of the service
ClipCutter downloads a source video, generates short vertical clips, and uploads them to a YouTube channel that you have authorized via Google OAuth. It is operated by a single user on their own machine and is not offered as a public or commercial service.
3. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the content you process and publish, including ensuring you have the necessary rights to use any source material.
- You agree to comply with the YouTube Terms of Service and all applicable laws.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
4. No warranty
The application is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. The operator assumes no liability for any damages arising from the use of the application.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or content.
6. Changes
These Terms may be updated from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
